Super Bowl XLII

I made no prediction, as it was elementary to me, that New England would absolutely win the game, but not cover...

I guess I was wrong. However, all I have to say is why would you pass the ball 50 times, when you have the lead for a majority of the game? Also, why would you pass so much, when you apparently can't pass block. Brady was totally crushed, all day!

Additionally, why were the Patriots' formations so predictable? Obviously I wasn't the only one who could see what they were going to do from a formation. The plays that worked the best were the 2 play-action passes to Moss from tight (running) sets.

The Patriots didn't have to lose that game, but they let it slip away...I am in no way a Pats fan, either. Just calling it like I see it. Did Bill Belichick turn into Jim Tressel? I thought both of those guys were the best coaches ever. Probably not.
